Oliver Platt Delights With Behind-the-Scenes of Latest ‘Chicago Med’ Episode

Oliver Platt is winning over viewers with a special behind-the-scenes photo from last night’s episode.

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, the 65-year-old actor–who portrays the head of psychiatry, Dr. Daniel Charles, in the medical drama–shared a photo of himself on set with director Andi Behring, whose list of credits also includes Dynasty and Tom Swift.

In the image, Platt is fully in character, wearing a brown sports coat over a gray cardigan and a light blue button-up shirt. He completed the look with a pair of square-frame eyeglasses, a watch and a patterned tie. Platt posed with one arm over the director’s shoulder and the other giving a thumbs up

“myself with a serious badass who y’all will be hearing about: @andi_behring is her name and she directs tonight’s episode of med!” he exclaimed in the caption before adding onto the enthusiasm with a few relevant hashtags, including “#ChicagoMed” and “#OneChicago.”

“Thank you so much my friend,” Behring wrote back in the replies. “Means a lot. I had the best time!”

Even the production studio got in on the fun, writing, “This duo >>>.”

Fans were just as excited as the cast, celebrating their efforts (and Pratt’s willingness to be so candid) in the many comments they shared.

“The talent in the picture is legendary!” one declared. “Love you @andi_behring.”

“Love you Oliver! Loved the show tonight,” a second praised. “Great job Andi!”

“Couple of legends right there 🔥🔥,” another gushed.

“Two legends together,” someone else shared. “Congratulations, Mr. Oliver Platt.”

“Excellent episode!” one more applauded.

New episodes of Chicago Med air on Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC and are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
