Taylor Kinney’s wife, Ashley Cruger, is a part of the One Chicago family, just like her husband who has been a part of
the show for over a decade. Taylor has been starring as Lieutenant Kelly Severide on Chicago Fire for the past 13
years, and Ashley has been his biggest cheerleader for the last few years. The couple tied the knot last year in a
surprise wedding after dating for two years.
The latest photos featuring some One Chicago stars have proven just how close Ashley is to everyone in the family. Marina Squerciati, who stars as Detective Kim Burgess on Chicago P.D., shared a round of photos from a girl’s night in with her co-stars. Ashley was featured in several of the photos, along with Patrick Flueger’s (Chicago P.D.’s Adam Ruzek) girlfriend Reem Amara.
The photos give a glimpse into the fun night the women had, posing closely together for some photos, having cocktails, and enjoying a sushi feast followed by an assortment of brownies and other baked goods. Marina wrote in her caption, “Great women. Great food. Great wine. Great night. These photos are blurry and not ‘IG perfect.’ Just friends having fun.” Some of the other women in the photos were Law & Order alum S. Epatha Merkerson, Jessy Schram, Toya Turner, Miranda Rae Mayo, Sarah Ramos, and Jocelyn Hudon.
Fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post, gushing over it with comments such as, “I want to be at this party,” alongside a fire emoji, and “My favorite girls. I hope y’all are having fun!!” The photo post showcases the close friendship between the women in the One Chicago family.
Taylor and Ashley’s love story started two years ago, and they made their debut as a couple at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, when Ashley shared a photo of them together. They attended Operation Smile’s 10th Annual Park City Ski Challenge, a charity event in Deer Valley, Utah, where they took plenty of loved-up shots. The couple finally tied the knot in a surprise wedding on April 30 last year.
Their love story was documented on Taylor’s Instagram, where Ashley made her first appearance in a March 3 post in 2022. In the photo, she was looking at him with a stern expression while getting her nails done at a salon. Ashley later followed suit and shared a photo of the two together at the charity event. The couple is still going strong, and their love for each other is evident in the photos they share.
