Season 13 of Chicago Fire has been firing off on all cylinders as these Windy City heroes continue to crush it.
Fans are never tired of watching these passionate firefighters save the day, and the drama has been non-stop this season. Firehouse 51’s new Chief Dom Pascal (Dermot Mulroney) has been mourning the tragic death of his wife. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) are becoming parents and they’re already approved for the adoption process. Meanwhile, Sam Carver (Jake Lockett) is on furlough, leaving Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) to miss her friend at Firehouse 51. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster, so Chi-Hards can’t wait to see what happens next.
“This entire experience on Chicago Fire is brand new for me. I’m also joining a cast that’s already here. So I’m really the new guy in a brand new experience,” Mulroney told NBC Insider amid his Season 13 arrival. “I’ve never played a part that will last this long. I’ve never worked on a job for this many months as our filming schedule rolls over into 2025. It’s rare for me to work on a character where I don’t already know the storyline… So, I’m having the most amazing time in a new process. [I’ve been acting] a long time — it’s so nice to have a new way to look at creating a role, originating a role.”
