‘Blue Bloods’ Actor Makes Surprise Appearance at Carrie Underwood’s Vegas Finale

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood wrapped up her spectacular Las Vegas residency, REFLECTION, with an emotional and unforgettable final show — made even more special by an unexpected guest.

Donnie Wahlberg, star of CBS’s hit series Blue Bloods, surprised Underwood backstage during her final performance weekend. Accompanied by his wife, actress and TV host Jenny McCarthy, Wahlberg showed up to offer his support and celebrate the singer’s successful run.

McCarthy shared a photo on Instagram of the trio smiling together, writing:
“Thank you @carrieunderwood for an amazing night. Your talent continues to blow us away!”

Fans were thrilled by the surprise appearance, and many took to social media to express their excitement — some even suggesting a potential future collaboration between Underwood and Wahlberg’s legendary pop group, New Kids on the Block.

“Invite her to tour with NKOTB! Hope you guys had a blast!” one fan commented.

The event marked more than just a closing night for Underwood; it was also a beautiful crossover moment between the worlds of television and music. While Blue Bloods officially ended its run in December 2024 after 14 seasons, Wahlberg is set to return as Danny Reagan in a new spinoff titled Boston Blue, slated for release in the 2025-2026 TV season.

In the upcoming series, Danny moves to Boston and teams up with a new female detective from another storied law enforcement family — continuing the Reagan legacy in a fresh setting.

Carrie Underwood’s final Vegas show proved not only a musical high note, but a celebration of friendship, fandom, and mutual respect between entertainment icons.
