FBI: Most Wanted was canceled, and some fans believe it to be due to ratings and a tight schedule. Ratings wise, Most Wanted fell behind many of CBS’ other dramas and hour-long programs including Tracker, Matlock, FBI, Blue Bloods, NCIS, Elsbeth, and Watson.
FBI: Most Wanted especially went through a situation towards the end of last season where they made budget cuts to keep the show running.
Fans are speculating that perhaps expense played into this decision as well.
Scheduling wise, CBS renewed so many TV shows, and with the new FBI franchise, FBI: CIA, in the works, it seems the network was ready to part ways.
FBI: International – Status Unclear
FBI: International was also canceled, and it’s believed to be due to ratings and a tight CBS schedule. Ratings wise, International had slightly better ratings than Most Wanted, but still also fell behind many of CBS’ other dramas and hour-long programs including Tracker, Matlock, FBI, Blue Bloods, NCIS, Elsbeth, and Watson. It’s believed that this could have contributed to the decision.
Scheduling wise, CBS renewed so many TV shows, and with the new FBI franchise, FBI: CIA, in the works, it seems the network was ready to part ways.
