Another alum of The Big Bang Theory has been called in to appear at Night Court: Simon Helberg, who co-starred with Night Court star Melissa Rauch on Big Bang, will guest-star in the Season 3 finale of NBC’s courtroom comedy, the show announced on Monday.
There’s no word yet on who Helberg will be playing, but he “will appear in a game-changing cameo that could really shake things up for [Rauch’s character] Abby,” per the official synopsis. Helberg and Rauch played lovebirds Howard and Bernadette on The Big Bang Theory, who got married in the Season 5 finale. Night Court has previously welcomed Rauch’s Big Bang co-stars Kunal Nayyar and Mayim Bialik.
In other Big Bang-related news: Raegan Revord, who played Sheldon’s twin sister Missy on the Big Bang prequel Young Sheldon, will also guest-star in Night Court’s Season 3 finale, airing Tuesday, May 6 at 8:30/7:30c. She’ll play Shelby, “a teenage runaway who is inclined to marry her soulmate,” in a nod to a classic 1984 episode of the original Night Court when a young Michael J. Fox played a teen runaway.
Plus, in Season 3’s penultimate episode, airing May 6 at 8/7c, Marsha Warfield returns to reprise her role as Roz, while Michael Urie (Shrinking) drops by to play “the courthouse’s new ‘fun judge’” who Abby suspects “may not be as fun as he seems.”
