Erica Kane may be the most famous character on the now-defunct soap All My Children, but her name gets tossed around a lot in Port Charles.
Eva LaRue played Maria Santos on AMC, and despite Erica and Maria being longtime romantic rivals, maybe Natala Rameriz (Eva LaRue) and Erica are longtime friends who go way back.
It’s not hard to imagine Natalia wanting to get revenge on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the Deception ladies for her firing.
Natalia was the CFO of Deception, privy to inside information that she could easily use against them. Erica Kane, who has her own successful cosmetics company called Enchantment, would welcome Natalia’s tipping off privileged information for her benefit.
Natalia knows company secrets and could potentially stab the Deception ladies in the back. Not to mention Sonny, who supported Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring), Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms), and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) termination of her and refused to speak up on her behalf.
Erica could create a new product that would sink Deception. It would be fun if Susan Lucci decided to bring Erica Kane for an epic crossover appearance to Port Charles to meet with Natalia so they could plot against Deception.
The contingent for giving Erica the info could be a job at Erica’s company, since Natalia was recently ousted. Without Sonny’s financial help, she may not be able to get another gig.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Enchantment Could Put Deception Out Of Business
A new beauty product by Enchantment could put Deception out of business. Deception may have had an idea in the works. However, Natalia and Erica could steal it and claim it as their own.
It would be deliciously soapy for the great Erica Kane to eliminate her competition and squash them like a bug. It would be like a wink and a nod to her fans. Besides, Natalia is not above executing unsavory deeds to even the score.
Natalia has already shown she can’t be trusted after she told her lunatic ex-husband, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), about Sonny’s heart surgery.
But that wasn’t the first time we saw Natalia’s true colors. She has been a bigoted character from the start.
She never approved of her daughter, Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) relationship with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), an admission that Ava Jerome (Maura West) captured as a recording on her phone.
Natalia made several discriminatory comments about her daughter. She also said that people in the gay community are “flighty” and don’t take anything seriously.
Fans knew Natalia’s number from way back then, and the audience never warmed up to the character. That being said, Natalia could bring some intriguing drama to the table if she were to team up with Erica Kane. Natalia could eventually move to Pine Valley.
Of course, in the end, the ladies would triumphantly reclaim Deception. While an Erica Kane crossover would be a soap lover’s dream come true, we would obviously root for Deception to make the ultimate comeback.
