Tracker is one of the most popular shows on primetime TV… and fans are imploring the show to deliver on a request they have about its future.
The hit CBS drama has been airing since February 2024, with the final episodes of season 2 wrapping up on the network this spring. Ahead of the season finale, Tracker‘s social team decided they’d clue folks in. Posting a photo of Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) on Instagram, the show shared they can catch up on Colter, Bobby Exley (Eric Graise) and Reenie Greene (Fiona Rene)’s previous adventures on Paramount+.
“Flashback to latest episode of #Tracker,” the caption read on April 8. “#ICYMI, now’s the time to catch up.”
While knowing that they can watch previous episodes of Tracker anytime they want was a plus, there was one request followers of the show kept repeating in the comments. Specifically, they were anxious to know if Tracker had been renewed by CBS for season 3.
“Three season renew! 😍,” one person begged in the comments. “Where is the third season??” another inquired. “This episode was as amazing as all the previous episodes. I am looking forward to the next episode ❣️❣️,” a different follower added.
As it turned out, some fans missed CBS’ initial answer to this question — and it’s one that’ll certainly get people excited for what’s to come.
Back in February, the network revealed Tracker had indeed been renewed for season 3. Not only will the new installment air sometime in the fall of 2025, Justin posted a video on Instagram confirming the big news to the cast, crew and fans of the show.
“Just wanted to congratulate everyone on season 2,” he stated in the clip at the time. “Because of all the hard work that you’ve done on season 2, they have picked us up for season 3. I also just wanted to say thank you, because this show doesn’t have a season 2 without you. The show doesn’t have a successful season 1 without you, the show certainly doesn’t have a season 3 without you. So, thank you for all your hard work and dedication and effort and time.”
