However, it looks like they’ll be adding new blood to the unit.Who is the new agent on FBI: International? (Spoilers)

In Season 2, Episode 19, “Dead Sprint,” the Fly Team was in Stockholm investigating the murder of an American tourist. When they checked out a local gang, they ran into FBI agent Damien Powell, an old friend of Forrester’s. He was working undercover on a local hate group tied to the murder.

Jamie was suspicious of Powell being a loose cannon, but Forrester trusted him off some past missions they ran together. Despite his rough attitude, Powell helped the team stop an attack and take the hate group down. Forrester offered Powell a spot on the team, and he accepted.Filmed in Hungary: FBI International | .

A theme of the episode was Powell and Vo (Vinessa Vidotto) clashing a bit and some banter. That paid off at the end of Episode 20 when Vo showed Powell a new apartment in Budapest, and they shared a steamy kiss. Episode 21 revealed they’d spent the night together, although Vo wanted to end it there. However, the episode ended with the pair in a hotel pool together, clearly ready to go at it.

Who plays Powell on FBI: International?

Powell is portrayed by Greg Hovanessian. The Canadian-born actor began working in 2013 and has had several credits in his native land as well as in the U.S., such as The Mist, When Hope Calls, and Another Life."FBI: International" The Kill List (TV Episode 2022) - IMDb

Hovanessian’s biggest role was corrupt sheriff Tom Davidson on Walker: Independence. With that show officially canceled by the CW, Hovanessian is now free to accept a full-time role on FBI: International. So far, the actor is still listed as only a guest star, and a possibility he was meant to be a brief character. But there’s a chance he might be promoted to series regular in Season 3 and boost the Fly Team up.
