Will Trent seems to be on a roll after wowing audiences with the first season and keeping viewers hooked with season 2. Those in power are hoping the wave of success surrounding the Georgia detective will continue with Will Trent season 3.
Unfortunately, in sad news for fans, the new season of Will Trent will not premiere this fall, along with its regular Tuesday night counterpart, The Rookie season 7.

Next episode of Will Trent season 3
Will Trent returns with a new episode this week. The episode, titled “Why Hello, Sheriff,” will air on Tuesday, May 6, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Here’s a synopsis of what’s coming:
“While investigating a murder in a rural town and clashing with the local sheriff, Will discovers surprising truths about his past. Meanwhile, Angie makes a surprising discovery and Ormewood continues to struggle with his diagnosis.”

Will Trent is an ABC original series, and new episodes are available to stream live on the channel in the US. For those who have cut ties with traditional cable/satellite TV, ABC can be streamed on live TV streaming services like Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, and YouTube TV. Season 2 episodes are expected to come to the UK via Disney Plus, but we don’t have a specific timetable for when that will happen.
In case you’re more of an on-demand watcher, episodes will be available to stream the day after they air on Hulu. We’re still waiting for word on when season 3 will premiere in the UK.

Ramón Rodríguez returns as Will Trent. This is arguably Rodríguez’s most high-profile role, but he has also appeared in Lullaby, The Affair, The Defenders and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Erika Christensen also returns. Many TV viewers will recognize Christensen from her days as Julia on Parenthood. She has also starred in Clover, Ten Days in the Valley and Cheaper By the Dozen.
Iantha Richardson (This Is Us), Jake McLaughlin (Quantico) and Sonja Sohn (The Chi) are also returning for season 3. The new season also sees a new face as Gina Rodriguez makes her debut as Marion Alba. Rodriguez won a Golden Globe for Jane the Virgin, but has also appeared in films like Not Dead Yet, Players and Awake.
