Tracker Season 2 Ending Explained: What Will Tracker Season 3 Look Like?
If you’re looking for a detailed play-by-play of Tracker‘s Season 2 finale, be sure to give Decider’s ending explained article a read. For the purposes of Season 3 predictions, however, here’s what you need to know.
The final minutes of Season 2, Episode 20 saw Colter meet one of his dad’s old friends, Otto Waldron (Alex Fernandez). Otto invited Colter inside his home and encouraged him to ask any questions he had about his dad. Otto explained that he met Ashton when the county asked him to run power up the ridge the Shaw family lived on. Ashton wasn’t happy about that, so after the two hit it off, Otto helped him install a wind turbine that would give him power off the grid.
“We got along OK. I helped keep the county off his back. One night we were talking, I told him I liked these carvings he was making, and he threw one at me,” Otto explained. “But that’s not why you’re here is it? The accident…”
When Otto told Colter that his dad had a lot of enemies, Colter pulled out his gun and asked Otto if he was in the woods with his dad the night that he died. “I was,” Otto replied. When Colter asked if he threw Ashton off the cliff, Otto confirmed again, said he didn’t work for the feds, and claimed he was only in the area that night because “she asked for my help.” She who? Colter’s mother! GASP And that’s how Tracker Season 2 concludes!
In Tracker Season 3, in addition to seeing Colter and his team track down more missing people, the show’s leading man will likely confront his mother, reunite with his siblings, and get some more answers about his dad’s life and death. The suspense!
