“90 Day Fiancé” star Liz Woods confirmed her breakup and stomach cancer diagnosis in an Instagram story Tuesday after her episode of “90 Day Diaries” aired.
“I’ve received two main questions and I can finally address them,” Woods began.
“I can confirm the rumors of cancer. I have it in my stomach and it’s been a long exhausting year,” Woods wrote. “I’m extremely tired all the time but I have never been more focused on my health and I make sure I surround myself with healthy relationships.”
Woods said she is focusing her energy on her daughter, her health and maintaining healthy friendships.
She also confirmed her split from boyfriend Jayson Zunig and wrote they split in December 2024.
“Yes, I am living my best dating life,” she told fans.
Woods Is Greatful for Her ‘90 Day Besties’
“The 90 Day Fiance” star shouted out the numerous friends she has made since joining the show years ago.
She praised fellow castmates Jasmine Pineda, Kimberly Menzies, and Tyray Mollett.
“Jasmine always checks in and offers any help she can,“ Woods wrote. “Kim and Ty, I could honestly cry, your support has meant so much to me. I love you both from the bottom of my heart.”
Woods ended up moving to Washington while she was with Zunig and thanked “90 Day Fiance” alum Mike Youngquist and his girlfriend Sara Rose for their friendship, as the three all live in the state.
“Sara, who knew we would become such besties here in this state. You and Mike spent New Year’s Eve with me when I was all alone,” she added in the heartfelt message.
Woods Moves on After Big Ed
Woods’ 90 day journey began when she met Ed “Big Ed” Brown while working as a waitress at a restaurant in California. The two became engaged and broke up over 15 times over the course of their turbulent relationship
Woods moved to Arkansas to be with Brown as their relationship was documented on “Happily Ever After.”
The final breakup was over an argument about over seasoned taco pasta. Brown ended up calling off the wedding with Woods finding out through a text message from their officiant offering his sympathies that the two were splitting.
PlaymIn the recent “90 Day Diaries,” the 32-year-old made the decision to donate her wedding dress from her failed engagement with Brown. Woods called the moment “bittersweet.”
She said the dress ended up in the truck of her car and stayed for months after she left Arkansas post breakup.
