What is Will Trent Season 3 About?
The star of dozens of novels, starting in 2006 with Tryptych, Will Trent made the jump to the small screen in 2023. You know: he’s an unorthodox investigator with a bunch of quirky quirks (he’s dyslexic! He grew up in a foster home! He takes care of his neighbor’s dead chihuahua!) but he gets results.
This season picks up about six months after the tragic end of season 2, with Trent now a private investigator in Tennessee, having fled Atlanta after his lover, Detective Angie Polaski, was arrested for tampering with evidence. However, a request from the prime suspect in a high-profile murder case brings him back, and then we’re off and running.

Everything I Learned About Will Trent I learned in the last 10 minutes. I don’t know…it sounds good? A pretty standard police procedural, probably closer to Bosch than Reacher in terms of tone. You already know if you’re going to like it.
