Despite skepticism from his colleagues, Shaun use his extraordinary gifts and unique talents to save lives. The series first premiered in 2017 and began its seventh and final season on Feb. 20, 2024. Who was Paul Lukaitis from The Good Doctor? Paul Lukaitis was a production manager for The Good Doctor for the first six seasons of the show. Per his IMDB, Lukaitis worked on over 100 episodes before he ultimately passed away on Oct. 26, 2023, in Duncan, British Columbia, Canada. The Season 7 opener titled “Baby, Baby, Baby” ended with a title card tribute to Lukaitis, honoring his hard work on the show.

Aside from The Good Doctor, Lukaitis had also served as a production manager on the Charmed reboot, the Lifetime series Witches of East End, the 2012 film The Company You Keep and several other movies and shows. According to his obituary in Today in BC, Lukaitis had previously worked as a logger on Vancouver Island and also built construction high-rise projects in the city. He then went to Vancouver Film School at the age of 32 and “found his calling.” He began his production career a few years later in 2003 on the Canadian sci-fi series Alienated.

He was 62 years old at the time of his death, having lost a year-long battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife Margaret Yaworski, a makeup artist whom he met while working in the film industry, and their daughter, Eva Lukaitis. He is described as a “beloved colleague to many in the film community” and his personal mantra included the phrases “never be late” and “questions are free.”
