They’re Back! Severide, Kidd & Pascal Set to Heat Up Chicago Fire Season 14

Chicago Fire may be off the air now, but behind the scenes, things are heating up for the upcoming fourteenth season, especially with the confirmation that three main characters will be officially returning to Firehouse 51. They are Lieutenant Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), Firefighter Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), and Battalion Chief Dominick “Dom” Pascal (Dermot Mulroney).

Most people probably won’t be surprised to hear that these three characters will be returning, especially since they’ve been at the center of recent storylines. Severide and Kidd remain one of the show’s most beloved power couples, and the surprise pregnancy twist in the season 13 finale set the stage for some major developments.

Meanwhile, Chief Pascal, despite being a new addition, has quickly established himself as a strong but steady leader, and his return sees him play an increasingly important role at Firehouse 51.

After Severide helped clear Pascal from the kill list in the season 13 finale, this only solidified their bond, and it will be interesting to see how their friendship develops as they face new challenges together in Chicago Fire season 14.

According to Deadline, Kinney and Mayo’s contracts are reportedly set to expire at the end of season thirteen. Meanwhile, Mulroney was only signed for one season when he joined the series. Now, they have all signed new contracts to continue appearing on the hit procedural drama.

Fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Severide, Kidd, and Chief Pascal will be back, as Chicago Fire gears up for what is sure to be an exciting and entertaining season!

With their return announced, we’ll likely hear more updates on the cast soon. We’re talking about announcements regarding who else is returning, as well as new additions. While not confirmed, cast members David Eigenberg, Christian Stolte, Jocelyn Hudon, and more are expected to return to their respective roles for the new season.

But before you watch a brand new episode of any of these shows, a new episode of Chicago Med season 11 will air that same day at 8/7c.
