“SEAL Team Says Goodbye: David Boreanaz Breaks Silence with Heartfelt Message and Behind-the-Scenes Joy”

Spoilers Ahead for the SEAL Team Series Finale, “The Last Word.” Read at your own risk!

The SEAL Team series finale rocked the 2024 TV schedule, and it’s still hard to believe it’s over. After seven seasons, the military drama ended on October 6, and while fans have known about it for nearly a year, with the finale officially out, there’s no denying the fact anymore. However, David Boreanaz is ready for the end, and he shared a message to fans along with some hilarious images to bid Bravo 1 farewell.

Boreanaz previously shared the final footage of SEAL Team and has shared more than a few emotional messages with fans in anticipation of the final episode. With the finale out, the actor took to Instagram to share a sweet message with his followers, thanking them and telling them he’ll see them soon. Along with the message, he posted a few photos from what appears to be the end of filming, complete with champagne and smiles that stretch a mile:

While there were probably some tears that stretched a mile, considering how much the cast and crew love each other, it was lovely to see how the cast and crew celebrated when filming officially ended on the finale. While it was probably a tough day to get through, knowing that once the cameras stopped rolling for good would mean the end of Bravo’s current television dynasty.

The end of a career might send many people running out the door quickly, but that wasn’t the case for this group. Fans could see how much the show meant to everyone, and all the celebrations probably helped quell the bitter feelings, at least for a little while.

The partying and popping of champagne also combined well with the fact that SEAL Team actually ended on a high note.

Fans may have had to say goodbye to Bravo 1, but Jason Hayes didn’t suffer the same fate as Curtis Ross, the traitor he was tasked with killing, who was eventually killed by Drew, a rookie. Jason was able to walk his daughter down the aisle and even stayed with Bravo. While some of the team members went their separate ways, there was still plenty to celebrate.

When it was announced that SEAL Team was ending, the final season seemed like a long way off, even though production had already begun on Season 7. The final season was a huge hit with Paramount+ subscribers when it debuted in August, and it proved to be one of Paramount+’s best originals.

The emotions were all over the place during SEAL Team’s final season. Since the show ended on a pretty great note and nothing too tragic happened, saying goodbye to Bravo 1 and the rest of the team wasn’t so bad. Plus, there’s always hope that SEAL Team could pop up in the future as another show, but for now, fans just have to rewatch the series and relive Bravo’s highs and lows to see that SEAL Team is never going away.
