Good news, SEAL Team fans? Paramount+ has locked in a premiere date for Season 6.
Bad news, SEAL Team fans? The Season 6 trailer will have you just as worried as a major character’s significant other.
The last time we caught up with SEAL Team, the regular Bravo members were ambushed in Mali, and were last seen being attacked with an RPG — before the season ended.
Just before that Mali operation, Clay reunited with his wife Stella in the States, and joined her in welcoming their newborn son Brian home after a harrowing NICU stay. After enjoying some family bliss, Clay, en route to Mali, informed team leader Jason that he would be taking a break from Bravo to focus on his family.
Reflecting on the potential casualties of the Mali ambush, showrunner and executive producer David Boreanaz told TVLine at the time, “It’s like, who knows what’s going to happen now? Who’s going to survive? Who’s not going to survive?
Who could get hurt? Who can’t get hurt? What kind of injuries? This is really going to change the fabric of it. But strength in numbers, it’s always been that way. It’s a team. One guy goes out, one guy goes in. That’s real life, and that’s what our show is about.”
