“Reunited and it feels so good!” Wahlberg wrote in his post as he shared Moynahan’s role in Boston Blue. While Danny Reagan’s return to television following Blue Bloods‘ end is exciting, many fans were clamoring to see more of the family that made the police procedural so beloved. Wahlberg, for his part, has had similar hopes about bringing more of his old co-stars on board, telling fans to “stay tuned” regarding the fate of the other Reagans. With his television prosecutor sister now in tow, he also teased, “More fun (and surprises) to come,” alongside his photo with Moynahan, perhaps hinting that the likes of Frank (Tom Selleck) or Jamie (Will Estes) could take a trip to visit next.
Where Is Erin Reagan at the End of ‘Blue Bloods’?
When viewers last saw Erin in Blue Bloods, she got a moment of peace to talk things over with her ex-husband Jack (Peter Hermann), and the two decided to give things another go. They remarried at a private ceremony at city hall and decided to hold off on telling the family until another time, but it was an overall happy ending for the couple that hints at a brighter future. What she’ll bring to the table in Boston Blue remains to be seen, though she’ll nonetheless be a welcome face for Danny as he adjusts to his new life in a new city. The spin-off series will see Detective Reagan enter a familiar situation to his own in New York, becoming the new police partner of a member of the prominent Silver family who, much like the Reagans, has justice running in their blood. Sonequa Martin-Green co-stars with Wahlberg, alongside Ernie Hudson, Gloria Reuben, Maggie Lawson, and Marcus Scribner.
