Marlena Evans has been struggling quite a bit on Days of Our Lives since the passing of John Black. However, the recent episode of the show brought back the debate, as Susan claimed that she knew what was wrong with Marlena, but is this explanation right?
So, here’s what Susan has speculated about Marlena’s current mental state on DoOL and whether she could be correct or not.
Is Susan right about Marlena’s current condition on Days of Our Lives?
In the recent episode of Days of Our Lives, Marlena speaks with Sarah, who checks her test results and declares that nothing is wrong with her. She also promises to find a solution for Marlena, but it is widely implied that she is still struggling with John Black’s death.
However, Susan seems to have a completely different take on the situation with Marlena. When Johnny defends his grandmother to her, she says that though Sami has good parents, “Dr. Marlena Evans has gone back to the dark side!”
EJ then tells his mother that Marlena is in mourning, but it seems Susan is hinting at the latter’s past demonic possessions. In previous storylines, Marlena faced possession twice before on Days of Our Lives. With her history, some fans have started speculating that this could be the case again. Furthermore, Susan seems to be hinting at the same.
Nevertheless, there is no way currently to know for certain if Susan is correct in her assumption. Later in the episode, she runs into Marlena and apologizes for saying awful things about her. However, Susan gets shaky immediately and declares that she knows what is wrong with her and that it is related to “blood draining.”
Of course, most things are cryptic in this scenario, but fans are slowly starting to speculate about another demon possession. It would be a little far-fetched right now, but as it has happened before, there is no reason it cannot happen again.
