The show that launched the One Chicago franchise is returning to NBC this fall.
On Chicago Fire, viewers get an inside look at the lives of firefighters, paramedics and other emergency personnel who serve the Windy City. Created by Dick Wolf, Chicago Fire launched the One Chicago franchise, which now includes Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med. But when can you expect the release date for season 11 of the series that started it all on NBC?
The Chicago Fire season 11 release date is Wednesday, October 1 at 9/8c on NBC. New episodes of the show will debut on a weekly basis in that time slot. And the day after they debut, they’ll be available to stream on Peacock. Wednesday nights will be must-watch for One Chicago fans, as new episodes of Chicago Fire will air between new episodes of Chicago Med at 8/7c and new episodes of Chicago P.D. at 10/9c. And there will of course be many other exciting TV release dates to watch out for this fall. Currently, a trailer for Chicago Fire season 11 is not available.

Chicago Fire season 11 will feature the return of Taylor Kinney as Lieutenant Kelly Severide, who has been present since the series first debuted. Sadly, not every character will be sticking around. While Daniel Kyri will be appearing in a guest starring capacity as Darren Ritter in the beginning of season 14, he will subsequently be leaving the show. But as to whether Ritter’s fate will be life and death or simply a transfer to another fire station remains to be seen. However, there will be new faces, as well, as Brandon Larracuente is joining the cast in a currently unannounced role.
