The latest Chicago Med season 11 news is that fans can expect the season to arrive as part of the 2025 TV season. All three One Chicago shows were renewed by NBC ahead of their season finales in May 2025 and will return in the same scheduling block in the fall.
Alongside the news of the renewal comes the news that familiar faces from the show’s past will also likely return for the new season. Showrunner Allen MacDonald has confirmed that he wants to bring back original cast members who have already left the series:
I intend to bring back another original cast member or two, like I did Sarah Reese, and that is in the works.

The same goes for TV veteran Oliver Platt, who will be back as Dr. Daniel Charles, and Marlyne Barrett as Maggie Lockwood.
