Young Sheldon star Raegan Revord is standing confidently in their gender identity amid their career change.
Raegan, who rose to fame for portraying the sassy Missy Cooper on the The Big Bang Theory prequel, recently opened up about the importance of representation in media during the television star’s recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“It’s so cool because growing up, whenever I would see a celebrity or whoever come out as nonbinary or queer, I was like, ‘Oh my god, this is so cool, I see myself in you,'” Raegan, who wasn’t allowed to even change their hair during Young Sheldon days, told the outlet. “It’s so crazy to have that experience where I’m now that person and there might be a kid somewhere who’s like, ‘Oh my god, I see myself in you.'”

Raegan, who uses them/they pronouns added: “That’s such an insane thing because I was in that kid’s shoes at some point in my life.”
