Is Abbie Chatfield's Mum Going On The Golden Bachelor? What We Know

Abbie’s Bachelor journey

Abbie Chatfield, 30, is an Australian personality, television host, radio presenter and podcaster.

She first rose to fame when she appeared on Season 7 of Network Ten’s The Bachelor in 2019.

There, she met and locked eyes with the season’s Bachelor astrophysicist Matt Agnew.

Abbie and Matt’s red carpet meeting birthed that viral “I’m a Gemini” moment. After Matt explained his profession, it seemed there was some confusion between astrophysics and astrology and Abbie replied by stating her own star sign.

Abbie and Matt’s chemistry was palpable throughout the series and Abbie ended up in Matt’s final two in the Grand Finale.

Ultimately Matt dumped Abbie in a heartbreaking scene and chose the other finalist Chelsie McLeod.

Almost seven years has passed since Abbie and Matt met on The Bachelor and the pair have remained close friends despite their public breakup.

Matt even appeared on Abbie’s podcast It’s A Lot in 2024 and snapped a picture with Abbie’s current boyfriend musician Adam Hyde (also known by his stage name Keli Holiday).

After her appearance on The Bachelor in 2019, Abbie burst onto the Australian media scene. She went on Bachelor in Paradise in 2020 but was eliminated early on.

Abbie won I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2021, has hosted Love Island Afterparty, been a panellist on The Masked Singer. Abbie’s podcast, It’s A Lot, is among the most listened to in Australia, with over 800,000 downloads per month.
