Friday, September 19, 2025: Today on Days of Our Lives, Tony makes Xander and Philip an offer they can’t refuse, Theo has a serious talk with Jada and Alex and Stephanie make a major decision.
JJ spots Gabi speeding through the square and throws an apology at her. And Gabi, of course, throws it right back in his face. He’s a few weeks too late.
After tearing into him, JJ takes it back, and walks off before Gabi can say, “No backsies.” But he must have just been hiding somewhere, because he’s still wandering around the square once Gabi’s gone. He sees Theo again, and Theo, in turn, eyes his gun and badge and walks away.
Alex fills Brady in at the pub on all the fraud letter drama. Everyone’s known about it for ages — except Brady! The “Black” sheep of the family is peeved, but Alex turns it around to be all about him when he says he’s been frozen out now, too.
Alex heads out to take care of something, leaving Brady alone for about 10 seconds before Gabi helps herself to a seat at his table, cheerfully playing dumb. She asks if he knows anything about this Titan fraud.
It’s then a battle of who can play clueless better as he, in turn, asks her and they both deny knowing anything. Brady’s just feeling sorry for himself, though, so Gabi tries cheering him up. Then he compares his job to John saving the world over and over, which is a losing thought process.
Gabi encourages Brady that this might be the time for a fresh start, but he insists he needs to see Basic Black through. But Gabi has an idea: She can run Gabi Chic and Basic Black!
Can Alex and Stephanie Move Forward?
Stephanie chats with Jada in their apartment about Alex’s offer to move in together. Jada’s thrilled and happy to take over rent, but Stephanie isn’t sure she wants to. When she lays the fight out, Jada still thinks it’s a good idea. And hey, who doesn’t want an apartment to themselves?
But Stephanie feels like the fight just finally exposed them for who they are. Which is kind of what fights with partners do — and Jada points out! They’re just going through Honeymoon Phase Death. After some more hemming and hawing from Stephanie, Jada heads into work, hoping they work things out. She really wants that apartment…
Just about the second Jada’s gone, Alex knocks on the door to return her key. It’s his weird way of apologizing and saying he still wants her to move in.
Stephanie wants to know he’s willing to put in the work with her, and Alex very much promises he is. He’s ready to move forward, Jada’s on the edge of her seat to take over rent and Stephanie wants to give it a try… So they’re moving in together!
Did Tony Already Win?
Xander gets to the office to go over Tony’s lawsuit, with Philip figuring he’s holding the letter fraud details back to blackmail them. Luckily, Xander has the co-CEO contract ready to go!
Philip tries offering himself up for sacrifice, and while Xander would happily throw his brother under the bus if he thought it would help (There’s our Xander!), Tony knows the truth. It’s this or nothing. Philip signs the papers and they head to Tony at the DiMera Mansion.
The fellas try to scare Tony off with news of the co-CEO agreement, but he doesn’t flinch. “This charade is too little, too late.” Xander glares Tony down, telling him that he and Philip are united, unlike the “eternally squabbling DiMeras” to face off with their family’s “lifelong enemy.” And I’m here for it. Who knew I’ve been needing a Tony/Xander faceoff all these years??”
Tony warns that if they go against him, they’ll just waste time and money, destroy the family name and still lose. He wants both companies and it’s in all their best interests to avoid going to court. But Philip and Xander are willing to risk a trial, so Tony changes his offer: He’ll offer them good money for Titan. DiMera’s his no matter what.
Theo Wants JJ Gone
Theo visits Jada in her office to tell her she made a mistake rehiring JJ. He mentions his shooting, which Jada knows about. She points out what we’ve all been thinking: Didn’t Theo forgive JJ and move on?
No, Theo says — JJ left the force because he knew it was the right thing to do after his shooting. THAT’S why Theo forgave him. Jada’s empathetic, but knows JJ wouldn’t have returned if he didn’t think he could trust himself. Theo insists they take his shooting seriously and make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
They do, Jada says. In fact, they offer cultural sensitivity training and did a background check on JJ. The shooting was deemed “clean.” It shouldn’t have happened, but before she can sing too many JJ praises, Theo insists that as a friend, he should have talked to Theo before taking this job. This hurts.
Jada, though, isn’t firing JJ for Theo. Theo’s angry, but just hopes she keeps an eye on him so he doesn’t hurt anyone else.
In the Show’s Final Moments
Brady’s sure Gabi would make a great steward for his dad’s company, but Brady can’t give up a connection to John. Gabi understands, but reminds him that his dad would have wanted Brady to be happy, no matter what. If he wants to change, he should.
Xander tells Tony to pay over three times Titan’s current market value, or no deal. Tony agrees with a shrug. Well, that was easy to give up their family legacy! But they have to think over it and Tony tells them they only have 24 hours.
Alex shows Stephanie into her new digs across the hall. As they enter, someone shows up in the hallway, but all we see is a hand holding One Stormy Night. Who is it? We’re pretty sure we know here.
