“I found my perfect match and she said ‘YES,'” the reality TV star shared online.
“Golden Bachelor” star Gerry Turner is ready to walk down the aisle again.
On Instagram, Turner announced that he and his girlfriend, Lana Sutton, are officially engaged. To share the news, he posted some photos of them together with her donning her new engagement ring.
In two of the photos, Turner is seen standing next to his fiancée on the beach while she places her hand on his chest to show off her new bling.
He captioned the snaps, “We’ve got BIG news. The Golden Bachelor is OFF the market. I found my perfect match and she said ‘YES’. I Love this woman.”
Turner’s engagement comes 15 months after he filed for divorce from “Golden Bachelor” winner Theresa Nist in April 2024.
“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth and — and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to — dissolve our marriage,” he said in an interview that aired on ABC in April 2024.
Though their relationship didn’t work out, Turner has since found love again. In an April interview on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, the reality TV star, who revealed he’s been diagnosed with an incurable form of bone marrow cancer in December, said he was dating someone new.
“I am dating someone,” he teased of his new relationship with Sutton. “I think at this point it’s going well. But I don’t want to say too much and jinx it and I’m trying to respectfully get to a point where there’s an acceptable amount of time from my divorce.”
Turner explained that Nist knows he’s been seeing someone and he’s been doing his best to “slow roll” his relationship. He also said his kids, Jenny Young and Angie Warner, have already met his new girlfriend.
“I think the fun part there is she has daughters that I really relate to, and she relates well to my daughters,” he said. “So we’ve been around each other briefly. It’s been fun. It’s been a very enjoyable encounter.”
Since the reveal, Turner has posted many pictures of him and Sutton together on Instagram. In one post, there’re seen vacationing in the UK, and in another they’re seen going to Paris and London together.
“The past two months have been an absolute blast — travel, adventure, and quality time with two families. Feeling grateful to have met such a kind-hearted woman. What a partner!” Turner shared on Instagram in May.
