Life after the cameras stop rolling is something I used to wonder about — would it be quiet? Would I miss the chaos? But let me tell y’all… life post-RHOA has been everything my soul needed and more. It’s been real, raw, peaceful, loud, messy, and beautiful — and most of all, it’s been mine.
After everything I experienced on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, I walked away with a full heart, so many life lessons, and an even deeper appreciation for the people who’ve been with me through it all. And at the top of that list? My sister, my ride-or-die, my born bestie — @lodwill.
We don’t always get a million pictures together (we’re too busy living), but we finally hopped on that little “jump skip” trend, and it actually worked — go figure! 😄 I think it just shows how in sync we are. With her, I don’t have to perform. I don’t have to explain. We just are — two women who’ve been through life’s highs and lows and still show up for each other every day.
When you’ve spent years in the spotlight — every move judged, every emotion amplified — you realize how precious it is to have people around you who see you for who you really are. People who knew you before the glam, the press, the memes… and still love you exactly the same.
These days, I’m choosing softness. I’m choosing joy. Whether it’s working on new projects, growing my businesses, or just dancing barefoot in the kitchen with my daughter, I’m embracing the beauty of this season. And yes, I still bring the heat (because come on, it’s me), but I’m doing it from a place of peace, not pressure.
I’ve learned that “richer” doesn’t always mean more money or more fame. It means more connection. More real laughter. More memories with the people who make you feel safe and seen. That’s the energy I’m on now.
To my fans who have followed my journey from day one — thank you for growing with me. For supporting me, for praying for me, for dancing along with me on the good days, and lifting me up on the hard ones. Your love never goes unnoticed.
And to all my sisters out there — whether you’re connected by blood or bond — cherish that relationship. Take the silly videos, go on the unplanned road trips, hold each other accountable, and never stop showing up for one another.
Life with a born bestie really is the best life.
Love & light always,
Porsha ❤️
