For NCIS: Tony & Ziva’s Cote de Pablo, coming back for a new show, one that was just about the relationship we never really got to see between Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo just felt right. And the way Season 1 became “a journey into a relationship that explores trust and honesty” also felt right.
De Pablo also spoke about storylines, performances, and how the second really enhanced the first in a story that was mostly about Tony and Ziva, yes, but that had an outstanding cast of supporting players, led by Isla Gee as the couple’s daughter, Tali. Well, that, what we could explore in a possible Season 2 and so much more.
“There’s not a lot of actresses who get to revisit a character who is 1) beloved, 2) kickass, 3) very strong, and has gone through a lot in life,” De Pablo told us. We know. And we’re very, very glad she got to do so.
