Per FlixPatrol, Boston Blue has made its way into the Paramount+ Top 10 in the United States, coming in at Number 6. This is almost a week after the debut episode premiered on Oct. 17. The legion of Blue Bloods fans have obviously headed to the streaming service to follow Donnie Wahlberg’s Danny Reagan from New York to Boston, where he will now be policing Beantown.
Who Joins Donnie Wahlberg on the Blue Bloods Spinoff Boston Blue?

Joining Donnie Wahlberg on Boston Blue are Sonequa Martin-Green (Star Trek: Discovery) and Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters). Boston Blue finds NYPD Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) moving over to the Boston Police Department. His new partner is Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green), who like Danny, comes from a large law enforcement family.
The other members of the Silver Family include Boston Police Department Superintendent Sarah Silver (Maggie Lawson), Boston District Attorney Mae Silver (Gloria Reuben), rookie cop Jonah Silver (Marcus Scribner) and Reverend Edwin Peters (Hudson).
The way the lineage works is that Reverend Peters is Mae’s father and Lena’s grandfather. Mae is described as the “matriarch” of the Silver Family and is Lena’s mother and Sarah’s stepmother, and Jonah is Lena’s younger brother and Mae’s son.
There will also be a few more familiar names and faces from Blue Bloods appearing on Boston Blue. Mika Amonsen takes over the role of Danny’s younger son, Sean Reagan, who moves to Boston to follow in the family’s footsteps of being a police officer. Blue Blood‘s Sean Regan was previously played by Andrew Terraciano. Last but not least is Bridget Moynahan reprising her Blue Bloods role as Erin Reagan, Danny’s sister and Assistant District Attorney of New York County.
As of now, Erin Regan is only slated for the premiere episode, but there’s always a possibility that she returns for future episodes.
Donnie Wahlberg previously teased mind-blowing “twists and turns” in Boston Blue. “The first episode is going to blow people’s minds. I think people are going to be like, ‘Oh my god.’ Like there’s some twists and turns in the first episode, and then we’re going to continue that,” Wahlberg said on the Boston-based radio show Billy & Lisa in the Morning. “You know, we want to pay respect and honor Blue Bloods, but also you know there are then there are thousands and thousands of police families in America, and we want to tell some of those stories too, and we want to let Danny explore, you know, be a fish out of water.”
