Freddie Highmore is the main character in ABC’s The Good Doctor, portraying autistic surgeon Dr Shaun Murphy. The show is about Shaun’s personal and professional development as he works at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Although he struggles with understanding some of the “social norms”, his friends and colleagues are often at hand to give Shaun support and guidance.
