Who’s in the Will Trent cast for Season 4?

Ramón Rodriguez as Will Trent

Will, whose trademark is 3-piece suits, continues to be assigned some of the GBI’s most difficult cases because he can read a crime scene like no one else, a skill he has learned to help cope with his dyslexia after being abandoned at birth and raised in the harshness of Atlanta’s foster care system. But Will has loosened up a bit since we first saw him in Season 1. He now owns his dyslexia and has programs to help him with workarounds.

Erika Christensen as Angie Polaski

Like Will, Angie was raised in the foster care system and like him, she is in law enforcement, but she’s a member of the Atlanta Police Department. Angie is also her own worst enemy when it comes to her personal life. In Season 4, she is pregnant with her first child.

Iantha Richardson as Faith Mitchell

Faith is a former member of the Atlanta Police Department, who was brought over to the GBI by her godmother Amanda Wagner to work with Will. She and Will got off to a rocky start, but they have found a groove that enables them to have one of the highest solve rates.

Sonja Sohn as Amanda Wagner

Amanda is Will’s boss at the GBI and the police officer who saved his life when he was discarded as a baby. Now that Will knows that it was Amanda who saved him, he has come to think of her as family even though they still keep up a business relationship. Sohn’s return for Season 4 isn’t guaranteed as she was shot and fighting for her life in the Season 3 finale, but it’s hard to imagine the GBI without Amanda. Expect her to be back.

Jake McLaughlin as Michael Ormewood

Ormewood is a veteran detective and Angie’s partner on the APD Homicide division. He is the father of two, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor, which may be responsible for his collapse at the end of Season 3.

Bluebell as Betty

Betty is the Chihuahua that Will adopted in the pilot episode because he couldn’t abandon her as he had been abandoned as a baby. Betty has become a member of Will’s family.

RECURRING CHARACTERS

Cora Lu Tran as Nico

Cora Lu Tran is back as Nico, Betty’s dogwalker who lives in Will’s garage.

Who will join the cast of Will Trent in Season 4?

No one new is joining the cast for Season 4, but Kevin Daniels, who plays Detective Franklin Wilks and is also Angie’s sober sponsor, has been upgraded from recurring to series regular.

Will Gina Rodriguez return for Season 4?

It is unknown at this time if Gina Rodriguez will return to her role as DA Marion Alba, who was also a love interest of Will.

Will Scott Foley return for Season 4 of Will Trent?

As the father of Angie’s baby, it is hopeful that Foley will be able to at least make a few guest star appearances in his role as Dr. Seth McDale, but Foley is starring in It’s Not Like That, which could affect his availability.

Will Yul Vazquez return for Season 4 of Will Trent?

Vazquez is very likely to pop up during the season as his Sheriff Caleb character has been revealed to be Will’s biological father.

Are there any spoilers for Season 4 of Will Trent?

“There’s so many great new ideas [in Season 4]. There were so many cliffhangers in that last episode of the season, and they’re just picking up where they left off and doing amazing things,” best-selling author Karin Slaughter, on whose novels the series is based, said on an appearance on Good Morning America.

What happened at the end of Season 3 of Will Trent?

The Season 3 finale of Will Trent saw several cast members’ lives in jeopardy. Following an incident of domestic terrorism in which the city of Atlanta was under threat of mass poisoning, the GBI successfully was able to put a halt to the plot, but in so doing Amanda was shot while protecting Angie in the GBI offices.

Then, while at home, Michael Ormewood, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor that requires surgery, collapsed.

And, finally, Angie decided to keep her pregnancy and informed the baby’s father, Dr. Seth McDale that they were going to be parents. Will gave her his blessing.
