Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed that Clarkson’s Farm will be returning for a fourth series after the third instalment of the Amazon Prime show was a huge hit with fans.
Jeremy Clarkson has excitedly confirmed that fans can look forward to a fourth series of the hit show Clarkson’s Farm.
The revelation comes hot on the heels of the third season’s success, which saw Jeremy tackle extreme weather conditions, cope with Gerald’s cancer diagnosis, and indulge in his playful banter with Kaleb Cooper.
Taking to social media to express his gratitude, Jeremy enthused: “Once again, thank you for all the kind words about the second half of series 3. I hope you enjoy 4 as much.”
He also let slip to his followers that filming for the new series is set to commence this year, answering a fan’s question about when they could expect the next instalment.
One fan praised the programme, saying: “One of the best programmes you’ve created. Not that it takes much creating. Your job of simply running the farm and highlighting the issues of British farming makes for excellent television. A superb job you’re all doing.”
Jeremy responded with his trademark frankness: “You’re dead right. It isn’t created written or planned. The cameras just film us doing stuff.”
The announcement has stirred excitement among viewers, eager for more of Clarkson’s rural adventures, reports the Mirror.
A fan expressed gratitude, stating: “Thank you so much for making this show. In America here, even on reality shows it feels like people are fake, but your show everyone is so genuine and when I watch you all feel like family, I feel your joys and pains, because of that genuineness. I hope you can make this last.”
The former Top Gear host responded: “The truth of the matter is that every person on the show was at Diddly Squat before the show began. There was no ‘casting’.”
The latest instalment of Clarkson’s Farm now accessible on Amazon Prime contained a tender moment that hit home for many viewers, as Gerald divulged his cancer struggle to Jeremy.
The season finale saw Jeremy joining forces with Lisa Hogan, Charlie, Kaleb, and Gerald to look back on a challenging yet rewarding year at Diddly Squat Farm. Facing those hurdles head-on, Jeremy remarked: “We have had our usual year of rows, bad weather, disappointments, deaths but let us look at it this way, I became a grandfather for the first time, you became a father again (pointing to Kaleb) and you, the G-Dog beat the big C.”
Gerald, visibly moved, uttered a simple “Yeah,” as they toasted to a collective “Cheers”. Overcome with emotion, Gerald added: “I would like to thank everybody, all the film crew, and all my friends here,” before falling silent.
Jeremy, taken aback, let out an unexpected “Oh,” before commending Gerald’s bravery with a supportive: “Well done you! “. The charismatic 74 year old, who has charmed viewers with his unique West Country accent and engaging on-screen persona, is currently undergoing treatment for prostate cancer and had surgery last year.
