Soap Opera Network has reported the latest daytime ratings and we’ve got some movement amongst the offerings. NBC News Daily is setting record highs in viewership and demos while GMA 3 and Let’s Make a Deal hit highs in total viewers. Let’s get into the soap opera of it all…
The Bold and the Beautiful (2.553 million total viewers/1.6 rating) was down three thousand total viewers but continued to wrack up in key demos. For the sixth week out of seven, B&B ranked ahead of sister soap The Young and the Restless amongst Women 18-49 (.20 vs .19) and crept within striking distance with Women 25-54 (.34 vs .35). This week, the CBS sudser featured Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Deacon (Sean Kanan) getting closer during unethical therapy sessions whilst Hope (Annika Noelle) and Deke (Harrison Cone) push their dad to leave Sheila (Kimberlin Brown).

Y&R (2.941 million total viewers/1.9 rating) was up 52,000 total viewers whilst still languishing on the key demos vine. The #1 daytime drama was down in both key demos allowing sister soap B&B to come close to taking control of both. This week, Y&R featured stories focused on Cane’s (Billy Flynn) AI software and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) ridiculous trip to Boston to see Mariah (Camryn Grimes).
General Hospital (1.835 million total viewers/1.2 rating) was down 35,000 total viewers whilst hanging steady in the key demos. The ABC sudser featured stories focused on Ronnie (Erika Slezak) agreeing to sell the Quartermaine mansion to Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) outing Portia’s (Brook Kerr) pregnancy.
Beyond The Gates (1.523 million total viewers/1.0 rating) was down 41,000 total viewers but held steady in the key demos. The newest CBS sudser featured stories focused on Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) trying to form an alliance with Hayley (Marquita Goings) whilst Ted (Keith D Robinson) and Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) threw down over Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix).
