LaRoyce Hawkins Opens Up About the Woman Who Stood by Him Through Tough Times — But Says She’s Not Ready to Step Into the Spotlight
Chicago P.D. star LaRoyce Hawkins recently opened up about his family life and the joys and challenges of fatherhood — and for the first time, he spoke about the woman who has quietly stood by his side through the toughest chapters of his life. In another conversation with Essence, Hawkins reflected on what fatherhood has taught him. “Fatherhood has taught me patience — with the little things, but also with the process itself,” he said. Balancing his busy acting career and family life hasn’t been easy, either: “There are times I’ve had to sacrifice time with my family to achieve something in my career, creating moments I know will benefit us in the long run — but sometimes, things don’t go exactly as planned.”
