Peg Munson Shares Vintage Workout Clip of Mel Owens
Peg Munson is feeling like the luckiest woman in the world after she captured the heart of “The Golden Bachelor” season 2 lead, Mel Owens. Since their finale, which aired on Nov. 12, the couple wasted no time going public with their romance. As they continue getting to know each other without the cameras, Munson shared a very nostalgic video of Owens in his prime and playing for the Los Angeles Rams.
Taking to Instagram, Munson shared a video of a shirtless and very noticeable muscular Owens pushing through an intense training session. In the clip, he’s visibly worked up a sweat as he powers through a series of workouts.
The video later cuts to highlights of Owens’ career in the NFL. It included Owens, who wore a number 58 jersey, swiping a ball from a quarterback before he could make a throw, and Owens running down the field to score a touchdown.

Owens played for the Rams for nine seasons from 1981 to 1989.
On the video, Munson joked, “Be thirsty, ladies,” along with a heart emoji. My man … And yes he still got it going on !!! #58.”
Owens Did Not Propose to Munson, But Gave Her a Commitment Ring
Owens’ “Golden Bachelor” ending stunned viewers. In his finale, his final two contestants were Munson and Cindy Cullers, but after feeling unsure about Owens’ feelings, Cullers walked away, leaving Munson as the only woman left.
Despite Cullers walking away, Owens remained sure of his feelings for Munson. In the finale, he offered his final rose but also presented her with a commitment ring instead of an engagement ring. Owens stayed true to his promise not to rush into marriage, something Munson also appreciated.
During their appearance on the “After the Final Rose” special, both Owens and Munson shared a life update in which they were going to “continue to grow their love” for one another. In fact, both reality stars revealed that they were in love.
Since the show, Munson has posted a fun Instagram video of their life together, splashing each other with water guns in the pool before having a passionate kiss. Owens even officially met Munson’s dog, Boo-boo.
