The Abandons trailer, which dropped earlier this month, depicts an embittered brewing feud between Lena Headey’s Fiona Nolan and Gillian Anderson’s Constance Van Ness. Taking place in 1850s Oregon, the religious Fiona finds her recently acquired land under threat as Constance seeks to take it from her.

Many fans of Sutter’s motorcycle crime drama are wondering if The Abandons is secretly a Sons of Anarchy prequel, as the new show also stars Opie actor Ryan Hurst. Time will tell if that’s true, but like SOA, The Abandons also centers on a bloody, lawless battle for power and control — a premise also very likely to appeal to Yellowstone fans.
