Carra Patterson is a mom again!
The Elsbeth star has welcomed her third daughter with husband Ruffin Prentiss III, a rep for the couple exclusively confirms to PEOPLE. Patterson’s baby girl Cleopatra Chyvonne Prentiss was born on Thursday, Nov. 6, and joins big sister Cressida, 4, and Coretta, 2. Cleopatra means “glory to the father,” and Chyvonne combines the names of her grandmothers, Cheryl and Yvonne.
Patterson kept her pregnancy private and surprised her Elsbeth castmates when they returned to film season 3 of the hit CBS series.
“We’re over the moon to introduce baby Cleopatra!” Patterson tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Our home is three times louder now, but Cressida and Coretta are loving their new big-sister titles and have become the cutest little helpers.”
Patterson plays Elsbeth’s best friend Kaya Blanke on the show. She transitions from being an NYPD officer in the first two seasons to an undercover agent in season 3.
The actress and her husband tied the knot in May 2019 and share two daughters together. Their eldest daughter, Cressida, was born in December 2020 and their second daughter, Coretta, was born in February 2023.
Prentiss — who is best known for his roles on SEAL Team and Insecure — guest-starred on season 1 of Elsbeth as Detective Darren Jax. In April 2024, he shared a compilation video of himself and Patterson on set, calling working with his wife “a blessing.”
“In our house, we love to dance…so obviously nothing would change when we stepped on set together! Such a blessing to share the screen with my wife Carra on her show,” he wrote in the caption.
“Carrie, you made me feel so welcomed from the second I stepped on set! And walking into a precinct scene with Wendell Pierce was like something out of a dream for me! Thank you both for making the experience so great!”
