Since Jessy Schram joined the cast of Chicago Med, she has portrayed Dr. Hannah Asher for several seasons. Over that time, Dr. Asher has become one of the show’s most popular characters. It is because her character is so beloved that there have been concerns about her season 11 portrayal. On top of that, viewers’ loyalty to Dr. Asher has inspired some viewers to want one of the show’s other characters to go away forever.

Ultimately, it has seemed very clear that many Chicago Med fans have long wanted to see Schram’s character get her happy ending. However, since the series focuses on drama, it is very unlikely that Dr. Asher will get a stress-free happily ever after anytime soon. Over the last several years, Hallmark’s Christmas movie season has become a pop culture event each year. As a result, it could easily be argued that being tapped to star in one of the network’s holiday film offerings is a big deal for an actor. Fortunately for Chicago Med’s Jessy Schram, she is one of the actors who is starring in a Hallmark Christmas movie that will be released in 2025.

On December 13, 2025, A Suite Holiday Romance will be released on the Hallmark Channel. That movie features Schram in a starring role alongside Dominic Sherwood. According to the synopsis of that film on Hallmark’s website, the holiday film will focus on two characters finding love despite a pair of comedic misunderstandings.

In the film, Schram will portray a financially struggling writer named Sabrina Post who gets hired to ghostwrite a memoir. As part of her big gig, Post gets to stay in a fancy hotel for free. While staying there, Post meets a British man who assumes she is wealthy, a mistake identity she initially allows to continue. The twist is that it turns out that Post’s romantic interest, whom she believes to be a member of the British aristocracy, actually isn’t rich either. Instead, he is the personal secretary for his wealthy boss, who is the one staying in the hotel. Unsurprisingly, the power of Christmas then helps the two mistaken strangers fall for each other.

A Suite Holiday Romance isn’t the first Hallmark Christmas movie that Schram has gotten to headline. Instead, she has previously starred in Hallmark’s Mystic Christmas, Time for Them to Come Home for Christmas, A Nashville Christmas Carol, and Road to Christmas. She also headlined a different kind of Hallmark holiday movie when she starred in Royal New Year’s Eve.
