Since their time on the show, the two have been spending time together in their respective hometowns and traveling the world together.
Recently, a rumor circulated online that the Golden couple had split up. Now, Joan is sitting down exclusively with BachelorNation.com to address the rumor about her relationship with Chock.
Check out our full interview below!
Bachelor Nation: Hi, Joan! Thank you so much for chatting with us. We’ve seen the rumors about your relationship status with Chock. Can you clear the air about whether you two are still together?
Joan Vassos: Hi, thank you! Oh, my gosh — I don’t know why they think we’re not. Just because I didn’t say something about him on Thanksgiving. It’s ridiculous. Of course we’re together! We’re going to be together the whole month of December.
BN: We also saw a rumor that you died, so we’re glad that clearly isn’t true as well!
JV: I know! Tragically, in a vacation accident… That [one was] ridiculous. I mean, I was on vacation, but I was posting pictures of Chock and I and my whole family, and then all of a sudden I was dead. It had a picture of me that said, “1963-2025.” That kind of hurts. That hurts.

BN: We can imagine. Do you feel pressure to address these rumors, or would you rather just let them blow over?
JV: I was so shocked about that one. Actually, Pascal called Chock and said, “I’m so upset, is she okay? Is this true?” It’s hilarious, I know. I mean, I’m flattered that people actually care, but I’m also shocked. Like, how do these things get started? I was super healthy. I was at Disneyworld actually.
BN: We’re glad you’re okay! We also heard that you and Chock are going to be spending a month in New York together. Can you share a little bit of what you two have planned?
JV: Oh, my gosh! So, we gotta do all the classic New York things! That’s kind of our point of going there, because we want to see if we wanna live there. So, we’re gonna be total New Yorkers. We’re just going to walk a lot, we’re gonna go to Central Park, we’re going to see the Christmas tree there, we’re gonna go to Bryant Park because they have a whole Christmas tree thing. I’m hoping we’re going to go do New Year’s Eve there. We’re doing all the New Yorker things, so we’re excited! I’ll probably do a lot of shopping. I hate to admit that, but it’s true.
BN: That sounds amazing! We hope you two have the best time, and thank you again for chatting with us, Joan!
