Kandi Burruss’ Estranged Husband Todd Tucker Sends Message of Support Amid Divorce
Kandi Burruss’ estranged husband Todd Tucker shared a friendly message to the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum as she debuted her latest endeavor, weeks after she announced their divorce.
Kandi Burruss’ empire keeps on growing—and her ex Todd Tucker couldn’t be more proud.
Amid the former couple’s ongoing divorce, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum appeared on the Dec. 9 episode of The View to perform a musical number from the Broadway show & Juliet, and her estranged husband shared his support on social media.
In a post on Instagram later that day, Todd, 52, shared a clip of Kandi—who will make her debut in the jukebox musical Dec. 11—belting Pink’s “Perfect” alongside her castmate Gianna Harris on the daytime talk show, writing onscreen, “Great Job @kandi.”
The TV producer—who worked behind the scenes on RHOA before exchanging vows with Kandi in 2014—further congratulated his ex in his caption, which read, “@kandi great job! Keep inspiring and doing your thing!!!”
Kandi, 49, seemed to appreciate the support, liking his post and commenting with a heart emoji, “Thank you!”
Last month, the Grammy winner announced that she intended to seek a divorce from Todd—with whom she shares kids Ace, 9, and Blaze, 6—explaining that she was “stepping into a new chapter.”
“This is a difficult and emotional time,” she said in a statement to People at the time, “but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect.”

Kandi has also been candid about the personal toll her breakup has taken, admitting that she’s felt “emotionally broken” in the wake of the split.
“This is not being fake,” she wrote on Instagram Dec. 3. “This is just how I deal with things. I internalize and deal with it alone. I am the poster child for the saying ‘check on your strong friend because you never know what they are going through.’”
After an outpouring of support from family, friends and followers, the Grammy winner—who is also mom to daughter Riley, 23, and stepmom to Todd’s daughter Kaela, 29—shared a follow-up video on the platform, saying she was “so grateful for all the love.”
“Obviously, this is a crazy time, and the other day I was having a moment,” she explained in the clip. “But I’m thankful to you guys. I’m back to being my normal Taurus self, so I’m just moving forward and looking for the sun to come out.”
