Wolf Entertainment reveals the best Chicago Fire and Chicago Med holiday episodes to enjoy this year!
The holiday season is upon us and, while we won’t be getting any new episodes of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD coming in the final weeks of the year, fans can revisit some past episodes to help get into the holiday spirit!
While holiday episodes might not be a tradition for the One Chicago shows, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD have all tossed in a few fun holiday episodes over the years. There are some great holiday episodes to enjoy, but there are two in particular that managed to secure a spot on Wolf Entertainment’s list of must-see holiday episodes for the year.
In celebration of the holidays, Wolf Entertainment released a list spotlighting some of the best holiday episodes from the FBI, Law & Order, and One Chicago franchises. Among the list were a pair of episodes from the One Chicago Universe, one from Chicago Fire and one from Chicago Med. So which episodes made the cut?
The first holiday episode recommended by Wolf Entertainment for those looking to get into the holiday spirit with help from the One Chicago franchise goes all the way back to the very beginning of the One Chicago Universe! We’re referring to “Merry Christmas, Etc,” the tenth episode of Chicago Fire season 1 and the first ever One Chicago holiday episode.

In the episode, the men and women of Firehouse 51 came under fire after a diamond necklace went missing at the scene of a kitchen fire 51 had responded to. The episode also saw Cruz trying to do everything possible to help his brother, Leon, with the gang troubles he found himself in, while Casey and Dawson attended an extravagant Christmas party hosted by her cousin.
The second episode recommended by Wolf Entertainment was “Secret Santa Has A Gift For You,” from Chicago Med season 7. The episode was one of the show’s biggest holiday episodes of its run with the show going all out with its holiday storylines.
“Secret Santa Has A Gift For You,” watched as the doctors and nurses of Gaffney Chicago Med were kept busy with patients coming in from various holiday-season related injuries. The episode also featured a fun Secret Santa plot and saw the Chicago Med team coming together for the hospital’s Christmas party. It was one of the standout holiday episodes from the franchise, and it’s certainly worth a watch this holiday season!
You can stream both of these holiday episodes on Peacock, where you’ll also find several additional holiday episodes of the shows such as Chicago Fire season 3, episode 10 (“Santa Bite”); Chicago Fire season 10, episode 9 (“Winterfest); and Chicago Med season 3, episode 4 (“Naughty or Nice”).
