Jeremy Clarkson shares concerning update on future of Clarkson’s Farm ahead of season four

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds has been ruined by the wet weather – and no more crops on the land could spell serious trouble for the Amazon Prime show

Jeremy Clarkson has delivered a worrying warning about the fate of his hit show, Clarkson’s Farm. The Amazon Prime sensation ranks among the streaming giant’s most-watched series.

The show chronicles the adventures of the 64-year-old former Top Gear star and his trusty companion Kaleb Cooper, as they tackle the challenges of managing Diddly Squat Farm in the upscale locale of Chipping Norton, nestled in the Cotswolds.

Already having weathered storms of discontent from local council and residents, exacerbated by throngs of fans flocking to his farm shop, and mourning the loss of his cherished pigs, Clarkson’s operation is facing yet another setback.

As Brits grumble over what’s shaping up to be a dismal summer, with some branding it the ‘wettest ever’ and potentially the bleakest in a century, farmers are bracing for the impact on their harvests due to relentless rain.

Clarkson, among those affected, turned to Instagram to post an aerial snapshot of Diddly Squat Farm, illustrating the devastation wrought by the deluge, jeopardising this year’s crop yield. He cautioned his 8.2 million followers: “It’s going to be a rough year. All that seed sowed, drowned with the constant rain.”

The post swiftly drew reactions from concerned fans, with one lamenting: “Another year of nonprofit farming. This is probably the biggest thing that Diddly Squat has communicated to the public over the seasons farming doesn’t make money.”

Echoing the sentiment, another added: “It just seems wrong to ‘like’ this post. My deepest sympathies.”

One third shared: “Unfortunately no one in power will care until we literally run out of food. It’s the same the world over.”

Another person commented: “Wishing you warmer days with a dry sunny stretch.”
