After the events of Young Sheldon, Chuck Lorre, Steve Molaro, and Steven Holland brought back the Cooper familymembers in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2. Granted that the main focus of the show now are the McAllisters, the season 2 fall finale proves that the show can toe the balance between the couple’s respective families. The super-sized special leaves the characters in an interesting place as they celebrate Christmas, respectively.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 Is Now In Its Winter Hiatus
For those who are excited to learn about what comes next after the McAllisters’ disastrous Miami trip or how Georgie would react to Ruben closing the store, the wait for answers will be significantly longer. Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2 is now officially on hiatus for its annual winter break. This is a pre-scheduled programming change that impacts almost every scripted show on network TV.
Instead of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2, episode 11, CBS is airing Hollywood Squares tonight at 8 PM ET. The Drew Barrymore and Nate Burleson-hosted game show will run an hour, which means that it will also take over Ghosts‘ timeslot at 8:30 PM ET. Moving forward, CBS might use this break in new episode roll out by airing re-runs of their projects to help people catch up on them.
Since CBS kickstarted its year later than its peers, it’s able to release episodes up until the middle of December. The majority of ABC and NBC shows have already been on hiatus sometime in November. However, the downside to this is that the wait for new CBS outings, including Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2, episode 11, will be a while longer. Per the official programming, it’s slated to come back on February 26, 2026.
This means that for the next two months, fans will not have any new content for the show.
