According to the folks over at TV Guide, CBS is not going to air the next, new episode 11 of Elsbeth’s current season 3 next Thursday night, December 25, 2025, and for a lot of other Thursday nights after that. It turns out that tonight’s episode 10 was indeed the Fall Finale episode. So, the show is going to take a pretty lengthy break.
Some of our sources are telling us that CBS plans to finally air the new episode 11 on Thursday night, February 26, 2026 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly try to memorize that very important date and time if you can.
As for right now, we’re being told by TV Guide that CBS is going to air a repeat episode of their hit crime/drama series FBI on Thursday night, December 25, 2025 in Elsbeth’s empty time slot. It will be the 13th episode of its previous season 7 titled, “Hitched.”
CBS’ official description for this repeat episode 13 of FBI season 7 reads like this, “When a passenger train is hijacked and rerouted while at high speed with an unarmed OA and Gemma on board, the team races to wrest control away from the unhinged perpetrators and prevent a catastrophe.”

On Thursday night, January 1, 2026, CBS is going to air a repeat episode of Elsbeth. It will be the 3rd episode of its current season 3 titled, “Good Grief.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “When “grief influencer” Raquel Drabowski’s presumed-dead husband makes a miraculous return, their reunion takes a fatal plunge. Elsbeth’s surprise reunion with an old friend could expose a dangerous undercover operation.”
After the January 1, 2026 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what CBS will slip into Elsbeth’s empty time slot on Thursday nights until that February 26, 2026 date rolls around.
