Bridgerton’s Smartest Sibling Has Been Predicting Every Love Story All Along md18

While fans focus on the grand romances of the older Bridgertons, one sibling quietly steals the show with uncanny ability in the Netflix show.

Netflix’s Bridgerton, based on the book series of the same name by Julia Quinn, brings to life the romantic lives of the eight Bridgerton siblings. Set during the Regency era, it is full of twists and quirks with quite a lot of Easter Eggs. But the best one, and one that many fans may not have realized, is Hyacinth predicting her older siblings’ love matches.

The youngest of all, we see her teasing or questioning her older siblings’ love lives, before uttering the name of the person they will surely end up with. She did the same with Daphne, Anthony, and Colin, and now that the fourth season is on its way, we can expect her to surely predict Benedict’s love match.

Unknowingly wise and observant for her age, her subtle predictions are always a delight to watch. More than just another character in the background, her predictions foreshadow later outcomes and give her more narrative weight.

Hyacinth is the Most Underrated Bridgerton

While Bridgerton siblings like Anthony or Eloise often steal the spotlight, the youngest of them all, Hyacinth, is probably one of the most underrated characters in the series. Witty, mischievous, and unafraid to speak her mind, she serves more than just comic relief.

Beneath her playful exterior lies a keen observer of human behavior. She sees through her siblings’ façades long before they admit their own feelings, whether it’s noticing Daphne’s unusual interest in Simon, Anthony’s quiet longing for someone beyond his social station, or Colin’s restlessness with polite society.

Even her remarks rarely come across as random but are delivered with an air of confidence, as someone who reads between the lines. These traits make her one of the most interesting as well as one of the most underrated Bridgertons.

While her older siblings may be celebrated for their grand gestures or dramatic and swoon-worthy romances, her true appeal lies in her intuition. With her predictions serving as breadcrumbs for us viewers, we cannot wait for her to predict her own romance, or maybe her siblings can do it when it is her turn to fall in love!

Who Does Hyacinth End Up With in the Books?

For fans eager to know Hyacinth’s future, Julia Quinn’s novels offer the answer. In It’s In His Kiss, the seventh book in the Bridgerton series, Hyacinth’s story unfolds with all the wit, intelligence, and heart we have come to expect from her brief but sharp appearances on screen.

Out of all the eligible bachelors in town, she meets and falls in love with Gareth St. Clair, the charming yet secretive grandson of Lady Danbury. While the attraction and chemistry are there since the start, their relationship begins when Gareth asks her to translate her late mother’s diary, which is in Italian.

Unlike her siblings’ romances, her story is driven by wit, loyalty, and an unspoken understanding between two people who share both intellect and humor. By the end of the book, Hyacinth and Gareth are married, with two children, George and Isabella.

While it will be quite some time before we get to see her love story on screen, it certainly promises to be as clever and heartfelt as the woman herself.

Well, what do you think about Hyacinth? Is she truly one of the most underrated among the siblings, or do you think another Bridgerton takes the crown?

Bridgerton, Seasons 1-3, are now streaming on Netflix, while Season 4 will release next year.
