Food fans say Gordon Ramsay should go ‘straight to jail’ with new full English pizza

Gordon Ramsay has divided food fans as he announced the newest addition to his Gordon Street Pizza menu. Taking on a classic British dish, the chef revealed people will now be able to try out his full English breakfast pizza in restaurants across the country.

He made the announcement via social media, where he urged his followers “don’t judge it till you try it”. Accompanied by a short video, the chef demonstrated the creation of his newest pizza combo.

Gordon captioned the Instagram post: “Don’t judge it till you try it….UK you can now try my Full English Breakfast Pizza that I made on #Scrambled at @gordonramsaystreetpizza ! You be the judge.”

The chef loaded a tomato-based pizza with slices of sausage, bacon, pan-fried potatoes, cheese, baked beans, black pudding, and an egg in the centre. In the video, Gordon can be heard saying: “Create something new, something exciting – breakfast pizza.”

His Instagram Reel has been viewed over a massive one million times, racking up 25,900 likes and 760 comments, at the time of writing. However, his new invention appeared to divide food fans.

Ferdinandua_ simply said: “This time I stand for Italian people.” Alek.pieczynski wrote: “I bet if someone served that on kitchen nightmares he would flip and start cursing it.”

Indulgingreverie commented: “Beans on pizza?! Straight to jail.”

Cooking_and_movies replied: “Did you win your Michelin stars in the raffle??” _jaypeg_ said: “Gordon please no stop. Think about the children.”

But not everyone was turned off by Gordon’s invention. Jadesbites said: “Yes every morning please.” Realdealmada agreed: “MMMMM BRRAKFAST PIZZA.” Zacrobbo1961 wrote: “That looks delicious but will the Italians approve this?”

Findmyblackpudding said: “Yes @gordongram that’s complete with the black pudding! Amazing.” Matjboy5791 commented: “Well …that is a thing of beauty.”

Gordon’s full English breakfast pizza will be available at locations around the country, joining the likes of his ‘Idiot Pizza’, pepperoni, corn and chorizo, and classic Margherita options.
