General Hospital Recap: Willow Unveils Her Master Plan to Drew, Chase Goes After Michael md13

The February 6 episode of General Hospital was full of discoveries! Chase (Josh Swickard) did some unofficial detective work that further implicated Michael (Rory Gibson) in Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) butted heads with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Kristina (Kate Mansi) was stunned by Jacinda’s (Paige Herschell) latest move, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) angrily informed her husband how he’d driven her to such extremes, and more! Here’s how it all went down.

After pondering Michael’s keys, Chase quickly pocketed them when Dante entered the kitchen looking for Rocco. When Chase asked how the follow-up questioning went with Michael, Dante reminded him he had already been demoted for overstepping before. Chase insisted that he still believed in justice, so Dante argued that in this house, they were family, not cops and suspects. But Chase pressed further, hoping that if evidence appeared linking Michael to Drew’s shooting, Dante wouldn’t shield his brother. As the acting police commissioner promised Chase he would follow the law, they were interrupted by Rocco, and Dante excused himself to take his son to the hospital. Chase took another look at the keys, then took off himself.

When Britt arrived late to work, and Liz told her she had patients waiting, she reminded the head nurse that she was no longer her supervisor. But Liz reported that Terry — the chief of staff who is her supervisor — was looking for her and wondered if she should tell her she was late because she was moonlighting at Wyndemere. Britt got defensive until Liz explained she and Lucas were just chatting when he mentioned that they’d barely made it off Spoon Island during the storm. To cover her real purpose for spending time on the island, Britt shared that she took the job at Wyndemere because she needed extra money to put her life back together and apologized to Liz for jumping down her throat.

Dante brought Rocco to the hospital for his community service, and when Britt ran into them, she asked how it was going. Liz and Dante both made faces as Britt warned Rocco that she and her mother would be cheering him on at his next hockey game, and Liz quickly grabbed Rocco to get to work. After they left, Dante confronted Britt, angrily demanding, “How far do you think you can push me?” She didn’t see the problem with going to Rocco’s hockey game, but Dante didn’t see why she needed to pursue a relationship with his son at all. Britt had thought they’d come to a truce, but Dante reminded her that she stole seven months of his son’s life and clearly doesn’t care about the people she’s hurt. Britt argued that he only has Rocco because she helped bring him into the world, and added that the kid actually seems to like her. Dante countered that was because Rocco didn’t know the real Britt, and opined that she didn’t deserve to be in his life. Britt countered that Rocco wasn’t a child anymore and could make his own decisions about who was in his life. Dante pointed out how she’s still lying now, especially about her fake death and return, and didn’t want his son in danger because of her. She insisted she would always protect Rocco, and he suggested she do that by staying away.
