Mid-Concert Bombshell: Donnie Wahlberg Teases Blue Bloods Reunion on Boston Blue dt01

Donnie Wahlberg will always have the support of his Blue Bloods co-stars.

It has been over one year since the cast of Blue Bloods filmed their last episode together, after the series was canceled after 14 seasons.

Since then, the Danny Reagan actor has continued the role through the spin-off Boston Blue — and separately, is also busy with a New Kids on the Block Las Vegas residency — both of which his former co-star Marisa Ramírez has supported.
Over the weekend, Marisa, who starred as Danny’s police partner Detective María Baez, took to Instagram and revealed she was at NKOTB’s latest gig, and, while sitting front row, got to enjoy a sweet reunion between herself and her former co-star Donnie.

In her post, she also included a sweet photo with Donnie, and later wrote in her caption: “The best way to spend Valentine’s Day!”

“Mom’s night out was just perfect! Warmed my heart to meet so many amazing blockheads. Thank you all for being so sweet,” she added, and fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over the reunion.
This really made me smile!! What a TV duo you both were,” one wrote, as others followed suit with: “Eeeek! Best work husband everrrrr!” and: “Awe Danny and Baez goals .. love you supporting Donnie,” as well as: “Miss you and Blue Bloods but love the guest appearances on Boston Blue.”

“See you next week!” Donnie himself wrote, along with the hashtag “Daez,” seemingly teasing that Marisa may be paying the Boston Blue set a visit soon.
His tease comes some months after Marisa made a guest appearance in the Boston Blue premiere — which also confirmed Danny and María had sparked up a romance — after which showrunners also confirmed she would definitely be back.

Baez will return — multiple times in the first season — and it’s a story we’re going to tell,” Brandon Margolis told TVLine, adding: “The struggle of moving to a new place and what you leave behind is front and center, and that includes the relationship with Baez, which continues for multiple episodes this season.”
Executive producer Brandon Sonnier also recently promised other Blue Bloods characters would be making appearances in the spin-off, telling TV Insider: “There are new characters that will show up. We will meet more members of the Silver family, and we will see members of the Reagan family we have not yet seen.”

“We’re still a fairly new show, and so our world is still growing and expanding as we get deeper into the characters’ lives,” he then explained, adding: “We now have a good handle on the characters we’ve introduced — drawing a full picture of who the Silver family is and how the Reagans have integrated into that family.”
