Anthony Bridgerton Is Back! Jonathan Bailey Returns for an Emotional Sibling Reunion in Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 md18

The latter half of the fourth season of Netflix’s Bridgerton reintroduces a well-known character, Viscount Bridgerton, portrayed by Jonathan Bailey. Recently unveiled images from the series depict the eldest sibling reunited with his family at home. Here’s what viewers can look forward to when the show premieres again on February 26.

The Bridgerton brothers are together once more. The oldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony, had been absent for the first part of Bridgerton Season 4. However, Jonathan Bailey’s Anthony, who took center stage in Season 2, is back for the latter part of the current season. Netflix has released several images of the Viscount returning to his residence in London. Unfortunately, his wife, Viscountess Bridgerton, portrayed by Simone Ashley, and their heir have yet to make an appearance. Fans eager for a complete family portrait will need to wait until the show drops its final four episodes on February 26.

The family patriarch is back, ready to address his relatives. New images shared by streaming platform Netflix depict the beloved character Anthony Bridgerton arriving home from India alongside his wife Kate (Ashley) and their young child. While his wife and heir are not visible, fans can still enjoy the fresh snapshots of the eldest sibling.

As hinted in the trailer, Anthony has a conversation with his younger brother Benedict (Luke Thompson) after Benedict confesses he has fallen for someone of a lower social standing.

Benedict is, of course, alluding to Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), who now works as a maid in the Bridgerton household in Mayfair. It appears that Benedict faces a dilemma in the latter half of the romantic series: love or loyalty to family?

Other images also depict a contemplative Anthony in his study, reviewing some documents. Another shot features Anthony engaged in a serious conversation with his mother, Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell), about a particular matter or individual.

Benedict remains unaware that the elusive Lady in Silver he has been pursuing is actually Sophie. As fate continues to bring them together, Benedict makes an unappealing offer, forcing Sophie to confront her own choices. Meanwhile, Sophie’s previous employer, Lady Araminta Gun (Katie Leung), has her own sinister intentions regarding her late husband’s ward.

In addition, Benedict’s sisters Francesca (Hannah Dodd) and Eloise (Claudia Jessie) have their own challenges to navigate. Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) also encounters new obstacles as a now-public gossip columnist following her arrangement with Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel). Based on the bestselling series by Julia Quinn, Bridgerton has already been confirmed for Seasons 5 and 6.
