The retired firefighter and bomb technician—who won the heart of Mel Owens on The Golden Bachelor last fall—has been selected to receive the 2026 Bombshell Boss Babe Award from the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).
Munson will accept the honor at IAOTP’s annual awards gala at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in December 2026.
According to the organization, the Bombshell Boss Babe Award recognizes women who have made a significant impact in traditionally male-dominated industries while also mentoring and empowering others. The honor also highlights philanthropic involvement and community leadership.
Before her reality TV appearance, Munson built a 22-year career with the Las Vegas Fire Department, serving as a Fire Investigator and bomb technician. After retiring, she taught nationally as a Hazardous Device Instructor at Redstone Arsenal Army Base in Huntsville, Alabama.
Munson later transitioned into real estate, specializing in interior design and remodels. She has also worked as a professional dancer, previously performing on the Las Vegas Strip in the show “Country Tonight” at the Aladdin Hotel.
In announcing the honor, IAOTP cited Munson’s leadership, dedication and community involvement as key reasons for her selection.
