Theresa Nist Shares Disturbing Story About Gerry Turner—And It’s Raising Red Flags md18

Ever since Golden Bachelor alums Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist got together, and quickly got divorced, it’s been a constant back and forth on what went wrong. But now, Nist just revealed an incredibly disturbing detail about a “joke” he reportedly made and has sent shivers up everyone’s spines.

In case you missed it, Nist sat down on the Dear Shandy podcast to talk about an array of subjects, including her time with her ex-husband Turner. During this chat, she brought up a story between the two of them, and it’s freaking out fans.

“I finally went to his house, and we took a walk around this lake called Pretty Lake, and we were coming to the end of it, and he said — this is really bizarre — he said, ‘You see that shed up there?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ He said, ‘Well, that’s where I’m going to hide your body after I kill you and chop you up.’ And he wasn’t laughing,” Nist claimed to the hosts. “Well, if this was his idea of a joke, that was pretty dark humor.”

She added, “I just felt like there was animosity in that statement that was underlying, like maybe if he could have gotten rid of me somehow,” she continued of the moment on the podcast, before clarifying: “I don’t think he would have killed me. … No, I don’t think that was true. It’s not true, but it just spoke to an underlying feeling about me.”

That is…truly haunting, and many fans have reacted to the news via bachelornation.scoop’s Instagram page, saying things like “This kind of statement is never a joke and should always be taken seriously” and “Ofcourse it was true. When they tell you who they are, believe them.”

Turner has yet to publicly comment on these claims.

For those who don’t know, in the fall of 2023, the pair met while filming season 1 of The Golden Bachelor. Months later, on Jan 4, the pair married during a live-televised special event but split three months later, when Turner filed for divorce, citing “irretrievable breakdown.”

This year, he revealed he’s releasing his new memoir, Golden Years, and Turner told Us Weekly that he says he was “made out to be a villain,” and that Nist “should be worried” about what he says.
